Brand Identity & Visual System for a Spatial SaaS Editor

Scenery is an iOS SaaS platform for crafting custom AR/VR experiences, the second app from Amped Labs UG.

I joined during early conceptualization, partnering with the founder to build Scenery’s brand identity and visual system from the ground up.

Launched Q1 2024 as one of the first 200 Vision Pro apps, it established Scenery as a pioneer in spatial editor for experiences, driving 60 % user onboarding in it's Early Access Phase.

In 2025, Scenery served as WWDC’s official virtual host and was nominated for the Auggie Awards.

Context & Challenge

The only XR Creation Suite you need.

Create a futuristic, scalable brand identity that resonates with both creative professionals and enterprise users, while maintaining visual continuity with Scavengar, Amped Labs first AR app.

The challenge was to craft a visual identity that communicates innovation and accessibility, reflecting the simplicity of Apple’s ecosystem while standing out in the rapidly emerging XR design space.

Logo and App Icon Process

Exploring dimensionality through 2D and 3D forms.

To visualize “Scenery” as a layered, spatial tool, I began by iterating with 3D forms of the letter S in Cinema 4D, exploring depth, light, and perspective.

I then transitioned to 2D sketches in Sketch and refined the form through Spline to add glass and particle textures echoing the tactile, holographic qualities of AR environments.

Designed variations with several Typefaces to find a suitable font that complemented the logo and reflected the brand's voice.

Result

A dynamic, dimensional mark that suggests both “S” for the App Icon and Logo and the concept of Spatial Computing, supported by a vibrant yet professional color palette inspired by light diffraction and mixed reality.

Visual System and Applications

UI Iconography

Through Market Research and understanding UI workflows, we collected a series of icons required for the app. Many icons were custom designed to match iOS Accessibility Standards and Human Interface Guidelines.

Icons balance minimal geometry with depth cues to align with the brand’s visual language.

Website Design

B2B Website (work in progress)

During my time at Scenery, I was designing the B2B website. However, it's still work in progress as I transitioned out of the role.

Only the landing page for App Launch was published, this focused on the App Launch Video, Customers (B2B) and a blog. I designed this directly on Framer.
