Workshop facilitation
The secondary research focused on gathering insights into the current state of female health through research papers and medical surveys.
The generative research was conducted through discovery calls. The focus was on uncovering user needs, behaviors, listening for pain points and motivation for using the application to develop the product. Questions focused on physical, psychological and emotional well being,
to understand challenges faced by women on a regular basis through the duration of their lifespan.
We conducted 70 discovery calls, 20 minutes each to gather the data from women across the age groups 18 - 53, from different professional backgrounds.
User Persona's
Based on the secondary research gathered, three primary types of User persona's were developed.
The age group is wide and ranges between 16 - 40 years.
Working women with conditions of PCOS, PCOD, UTI.
Women in their 20's and 30's who are struggling to conceive a child due to PCOS, PCOD or Thyroid.
Parents of young girls, who want to make them aware about their body but are uncertain how to approach the subject.
It is important to note, that these personas do not represent the whole population’s experience, simply those we talked to within the project’s scope which may lean towards a more privileged group of individuals.
User Research
The User Research was conducted through a form on Tally and through discovery calls. A customized set of questions were designed to gather user insights. The User's could test the first version of the product and provide their feedback.

Key Takeaways
Scope for further developing the product in collaboration with gynecologists would create a safer ecosystem.
The use of AI in healthcare needs to be designed carefully, as all the information is not reliable and no patient should medical information without consulting a healthcare practitioner.
Conversations around Female Health remain a taboo even in literate and educated society, but women are willing to take charge of their bodies provided they have a safe environment to converse in.
