The Challenge
Create an engaging, geo-location anchored Augmented Reality (AR) experience to tell the story of Lida Gustava Heymann, a significant female protagonist in Hamburg's history. The experience needed to be accessible, informative, and visually compelling while being anchored to the Rathaus Hamburg location.
Approach
Developed 3D assets for a parallax effect to add depth to the experience
Created and tested 3D text plates for optimal readability in AR
Experimented with various text formats, fonts, and orientations for best user experience
Generated AI voiceovers and selected suitable ambient audio
Collaborated with artist Michelle Warsönke on integrating the main 3D sculpture
Implemented geo-location anchoring using Google's technology
Designed marketing collateral for the event launch
